The 2010 Awards night was another huge success. After the success of
our Halloween theme last year, we went back to the traditional Awards
night. Of the 129 students
nominated, 100 were on hand to receive their awards. The night started with
the re-introduction of the jump front kick competition. Gold and silver
medals were given out thanks to our Jump kick sponsor Distinctive Pools.
Distinctive Pools also designed and supplied the Jump kick stand which worked great and we be used at next years
Gold Coast Open. After a brief welcome by Master Michael Tan, we were treated to
a demonstration from instructors and black belts from around the centres.
After the demonstration we went straight into the announcement of the
Awards. After intermission, a number of games including poison ball was
played. The 2011 Awards night we go back to the Halloween theme. Congratulations to all those who attended and assisted on the
night.
