Ben Hartmann and Byron Coleborne have just competed at the 2008 US Open in New Orleans.  Ben and Byron are the only Australian competitors at this years US Open. Ben in Light Weight division had 2 walk overs before losing in sudden death 4th round to Canada's A Fernano in the 3rd Round.  Byron the current Australian heavy weight champion had 4 fights and went on to win the silver medal. 

Shane Hartmann was one of 4 Australian International Referees selected to officiate at the event.  The rest of the Hartman family Di, Daniel and Jo are their to support our fighters.  All will be back in early March to resume training.
